Eze is separated into two distinct hamlets linked by a single road: Eze Village and Eze-Bord-de-Mer. Eze Village, with its narrow streets and picturesque charm, contrast with the sea resort and its beaches on the other side of the railway alongside the Basse Corniche. Living in a residential area es Eze, between Nice and Monaco, means enjoying the calm and natural of a Mediterranean coastal life with schools and sports facilities nearby.
On the Grande Corniche you will find the natural forested park Revere and fort dating back to the late 19th century. Here you can observe over 450 species of plants and many different birds and a view from the coast to the Mercantour mountains. The pass of the Grande Corniche, at a height of 675 meters, offers a beautiful view of the French Riviera and Italy.
The Moyenne Corniche leads to the village of Eze. Its exotic garden decorated with sculptures offer a stunning panorama and on clear days you may even see Corsica. In the village, small shops installed in stables, sell local crafts and specialities. The two guard towers at the entrance of the village, are classified as historical monuments.
Eze-Bord-de-mer, on the Basse Corniche is a seaside resort enjoying a Mediterranean and mild climate with lush vegetation. The beach offers some shaded places thanks to the pine trees.
