The residences and houses of Mont Boron

This area consists of many individual villas, often contemporary and offering quality services. But also luxurious apartments located in high-end residences with a manicured park, a swimming pool, a caretaker and large terraces that reveal panoramic views of the Bay of Angels. These mansions, in addition to taking place within an exceptional setting, enjoy a close proximity with local shops. However, the district remains a very preserved place thanks to its forest extended over 57 hectares.

The hill of Mont Boron saw its early urban architecture from the mid-nineteenth century. The development of this area is then subject to military servitudes. The battery of Mount Boron, a former military fort located on the route forestière du Mont Boron, is now transformed into a workshop of creation, training, and architectural exhibition by the architect Jean Nouvel.

The neighbourhood began its transformation with the construction on the rocky slopes of Mont Boron from the “English Castle” from 1856. This original mansion draws your attention by its colour and shapes when you perceive it from Boulevard Carnot or Avenue Jean Lorrain.

Prominent figures from the Second Empire, such as Baron Haussmann and banker Louis Frémy, built their villas in landscaped parks. Even today, celebrities choose the Mont Boron district as a place of residence. Elton John has a beautiful villa here with a view of the Bay of Angels.

In this residential area we find bourgeois or Belle Epoque houses and old palaces such as the Palais du Mont boron. The buildings are often more modern and of great standing, equipped with terraces and parking spaces.
