The district of Fabron is ideally located on the west side of Nice between Sea and hills. Nice West extends from the Promenade des Anglais, (Baumettes), to the hills of Saint Antoine de Ginestière and Saint Roman de bellet. The main axes are the Promenade des Anglais, Boulevard Napoleon III and the Avenue de Fabron.
Living in Nice West allows easy access to the motorway network to reach the city of Cannes or the Principality of Monaco. Access to the ‘voie rapide’, a kind of highroad, makes it easy to get to the city centre of Nice and the proximity to Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is another advantage. The new tram line also makes an easy access to the city centre and the airport possible.
You can choose to travel by train to Monaco or Cannes at the train station of St Augustin. The bus and shuttle network connects the hills to the activity poles and colleges and high schools.
Living in Fabron or on the hills of the western part of Nice is synonymous with a beautiful quality of life. In Nice West The residences are more recent than in the historic districts of Nice. Most residences were built between 1960 and 1990. The apartments for sale often offer large terraces with beautiful sea views and are located in luxury residences with swimming pool, tennis court, park and caretaker. Most of the apartments for sale are sold with at least one private parking lot.
Among the luxury residences we find Les Constellations, L’Arcadia, Les Belles Terres and L’abbeye de Roseland or Isola Celesta. On the hills you will find modern or Provencal style villas with views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. It is also on the hills of Bellet that we find the vineyards of Nice.
Living in Fabron is like living in a village, or at least it feels like. We find a neighbourhood life with small supermarkets, bakeries and pharmacies that are sometimes located directly at the foot of the buildings.
Concerning the schools, apart from nursery and primary schools in this neighbourhood, we find colleges and universities, “the International School of Nice”, the Faculty of Arts and the IUT (Technical University Institute).
The Fabron area offers many green areas with Mediterranean vegetation. You can walk to the botanical garden on the Corniche Fleurie to discover over 3000 plant species and admire a panorama of the sea. The square of Carole de Roumanie is a good place to do some exercise or celebrate a birthday party and, in the summer, kids will enjoy the water games. There is also a midgetgolf court. In the Parc Phoenix close to the airport you can discover a rich vegetation in the greenhouses or exteriors and very different species of animals.
