The Fort of “Mont Alban” is visible from afar from Nice and Villefranche. Located at the foot of Mont-Boron, the prehistoric cave of Lazaret has been opened to the public since 2015. The cave was declared historic monument in 1963, 13 years after the first archaeological excavations began.
On the hill of Mont-Boron you will notice the castle of the Englishman built around 1856, with its curious architectural mix of Hindu and British medieval styles.
